For Standard service, 5–7 days before you travel. For Priority, 3–4 days. For Express, next-day pickup is available in most metros.
What happens if my bag is lost or damaged?+−
Every shipment includes insurance at no extra cost — $500 Standard, $1,000 Priority, $2,500 Express. Claims are processed within 5 business days.
Do you handle skis, golf clubs, and oversized items?+−
Yes. Skis, snowboards, golf bags, and bikes ship at flat oversized rates — usually cheaper than an airline oversized-baggage fee.
Can I ship from a hotel back home?+−
Absolutely. Round-trip shipments are our fastest-growing category. Book both legs at once and save 10%.
How does the price compare to checking a bag?+−
For 1 bag, checking is usually cheaper. For 2+ bags, ski/golf/oversized, or peak-season travel, Waylighter usually costs the same or less — and you skip baggage claim.
